Intercepts of a Graph
The x-intercept of a graph is the x-coordinate of the point at which the graph intersects the x-axis.
The y-intercept of a graph is the y-coordinate of the point at which the graph intersects the y-axis.

Name the intercepts of the line shown below.

Solution
The x-intercept of the graph is 3 and the y-intercept is –2.
