Vertebrates
Vertebrates are animals with well-developed skeletal systems. Vertebrates possess other complex body parts. These animals are also called chordates.
Vertebrates include fishes, amphibians, reptiles, birds, and mammals. They belong to phylum Chordata, under subphylum Vertebrata. The following are the different classes of vertebrates.
