Water Conservation
Although water plays a vital role in the survival of all living things, unfortunately some people seem to have forgotten that this resource should not be abused or used without regard for its care and conservation. Among them are those who carelessly throw their trash even into bodies of water, thus polluting the water. They also include owners or operators of factories and other establishments that allow their chemical wastes to spill out into nearby rivers. These wastes cause the death of aquatic plants and animals.
Pollution of bodies of water does not result only in getting the water dirty and unfit for use. It also leads to the reduction of the amount of oxygen that is in the water and which aquatic animals and plants need to live.
Other individuals do not directly contribute toward water pollution but instead use water in a wasteful manner. If more and more people take this attitude toward the use of water, then it will not take long before this resource runs out or becomes very hard to obtain.
