Slope of a Line
The following figures illustrate the difference among the graphs of lines with (a) positive; (b) negative; (c) zero; and (d) undefined slopes.
It is also important to remember the following:
- Lines with positive slopes rise from left to right.
- Lines with negative slopes fall from left to right.
