Blood Circulation

Food nutrients are absorbed by the villi in the small intestine and then transported to the bloodstream. You have also learned that the oxygen you breathe in enters the lungs. Food nutrients and oxygen are absorbed and carried by the blood to all parts of the body through the process called circulation. There are different types of blood circulation, namely, coronary, pulmonary, systemic, and portal.
