Proper Waste Management

Waste management should not be seen as simply waste disposal. There is more to proper waste management than just waste disposal. Each person should participate in this effort. Everyone must do his or her share. You can start by making certain changes in the way you live, in the way you value things, and in the way you consume things.

Reduce the waste you produce

Because different materials react differently to the same factors such as heat or oxygen, these materials must be grouped together in order to make waste management safer. Materials that are highly combustible should not be mixed with materials that combust slower, as any exposure to fire will result in the burning of all materials, regardless of their rate of combustion.

Reuse materials that are not yet worn out

Other used things must not be thrown away or sold. You can reuse them. Plastic things can be saved for different purposes. Plastic grocery bags can be reused many times. Hard plastic containers and glass jars and bottles can be used again. You should also buy products in reusable and recycled containers. This reduces piles of plastic garbage.
