Air Temperature

Air temperature refers to the hotness or coldness of the atmosphere. The heat of the sun and the wind affect the temperature in a place as they cause the temperature to either rise or go down.

Meteorologists use an instrument called thermometer to measure air temperature. This measurement may be reported in either of two scales: Celsius or Fahrenheit. Most countries use the Celsius scale while the United States uses the Fahrenheit scale.
