The Law of Magnetism

Force in a magnet is concentrated at its two ends, which are called poles. The force of attraction is strongest at the poles. The end that points to the north part is called the north pole while the other end that faces the south is called the south pole. The letters N and S that you see on magnets represent the two poles.
