Activity 2

1.	Draw any triangle. Label it $ΔDEF .$
2.	Choose your partner. Tell him/her to construct another triangle with an angle congruent to $∠ E.$ Label it $∠ U .$
3.	On the side of $∠ U,$ ask your partner to construct side $\bar{VU}$ congruent to side $\bar{DE},$ and on the other side of $∠ U,$ construct side $\bar{UX}$ congruent to side $\bar{EF} .$
4.	Cut the triangles and compare them. Find out if $ΔDEF$ fits in $ΔVUX .$ Compare your result with that of the other groups.
5.	Write a conclusion about two triangles that have two sides and an included angle of one triangle congruent to two sides and an included angle of the other triangle.

The included angle between sides $\bar{DE}$ and $\bar{EF}$ is $∠ E .$ The included side between $∠ DEF$ and $∠ EFD$ is $\bar{DE} .$
