Pharyngitis

Pharyngitis, also known as sore throat, is a common disorder of the pharynx caused by a virus. The symptoms include having a fever and a tender, reddish throat. In some cases, pharyngitis can lead to rheumatic fever or heart disease. Persons who have sore throat are advised to rest, drink plenty of water, and gargle salt solution.

Asthma

Asthma is a disorder usually caused by allergens such as animal hair, dust, and smoke. These allergens cause the bronchi and bronchioles to become narrow. Air enters the alveoli, but cannot leave because of the narrow passageway. As a result, the affected person experiences wheezing, breathlessness, and tightness in the chest. A person with asthma must get rid of all the allergens mentioned. A spray inhaler recommended by a doctor can be used in case of an asthma attack.
