Stratus clouds are low-lying, gray clouds that often cover the whole sky. They usually appear in layers. They are associated with drizzles, or light rain.

Nimbus Clouds

Nimbus clouds are low-lying, dark clouds. They are also called rain clouds as they indicate the coming of rain.
