Noise Reduction

Uncontrolled sounds create noise, or any sound that is not pleasing to the ear. The following are simple ways that can help you reduce noise.

  1. Listen when someone is talking. Do not talk at the same time.
  2. Close or open doors, windows, and similar openings quietly.
  3. Lower the volume of radios and other music players, especially when someone nearby is resting, studying, or sleeping.
  4. Pass through school and hospital corridors silently.
  5. Refrain from shouting when you are inside enclosed areas like bedrooms and classrooms.
  6. Work quietly when doing group activities and projects, especially when other people nearby are busy with work and similar activities.
