Noise Reduction
Uncontrolled sounds create noise, or any sound that is not pleasing to the ear. The following are simple ways that can help you reduce noise.
- Listen when someone is talking. Do not talk at the same time.
- Close or open doors, windows, and similar openings quietly.
- Lower the volume of radios and other music players, especially when someone nearby is resting, studying, or sleeping.
- Pass through school and hospital corridors silently.
- Refrain from shouting when you are inside enclosed areas like bedrooms and classrooms.
- Work quietly when doing group activities and projects, especially when other people nearby are busy with work and similar activities.
