Basic Postulates (1)
Postulate 3.
If two distinct lines intersect, they intersect at exactly one point.

In the figure above, distinct lines l and m intersect at point P.
Postulate 4.
If two distinct points of a line lie on a plane, the line also lies on the plane.

In the figure above, points A and B on plane Ƥ lie on line l, implying that line l also lies on plane Ƥ.
