The graph shows the different sections at the 8th grade of a certain school and the corresponding number of students in each section. Let the x-axis represent the number of students per section and the y-axis represent the section. The correspondence can be represented by the following set of ordered pairs:

The set of ordered pairs above is an example of a relation. Recall that a relation is a set of ordered pairs.
