Components of the Investigatory Problem
Data Interpretation
Data are interpreted by analyzing and synthesizing the relationship between and among the variables in the experiment. Qualitative data may be interpreted by simply comparing for similarities or differences of such qualities as color, odor, sound, taste, and texture. On the other hand, quantitative data may be interpreted using certain statistical tools.
Conclusion
In the investigatory process, the conclusion is a statement that answers questions related to the research problem; it also shows or presents the solution to the problem. Usually the number of research subproblems that have been formulated will yield the same number of conclusions drawn.
