Applications of Separating Mixtures

Every day you find everyone busy putting things together or separating them. You form mixtures or separate their components as you do different activities. In the picture that follows, you can see farmers separating the seeds from the harvested plants.

After harvesting, farmers thresh palay to separate the grains from the harvested plants by using a threshing machine. Before the invention of the threshing machine, farmers manually performed threshing.
