Asexual Reproduction in Plants
The method of reproduction that does not involve the reproductive cells of plants is called asexual reproduction. In this kind of reproduction, new plants are grown from vegetative plant parts like leaves, stems, and roots.
Aside from these vegetative parts, asexual reproduction in plants can be done through artificial propagation. Cutting, marcotting, gathering, layering, budding, and cell and tissue culture are some methods of artificial propagation.
