Object Pronouns

Object pronouns are pronouns that come after either verbs or prepositions.

Read these phrases:

  • with him

The words loved, admire, remember, and forget are verbs. The words to and with are prepositions.

Pronouns that come after a verb or a preposition are called object pronouns. Thus the words them, us, me, her, and him are object pronouns. They come either after verbs or prepositions.
