Organ System

An organ system is made up of two or more organs that work together as a single unit to perform a broad set of functions, particularly in many-celled (multicellular) organisms.

The digestive system is an example of an organ system. In this system, the mouth, esophagus, stomach, pancreas, gallbladder, liver, and small and large intestines work together to process food that the body needs.
